Association of IP Professionals in Swedish Industry
(Svenska Industrins IP Förening, SIPF)
The Association of IP Professionals in Swedish Industry was founded in 1939.
The objectives of the Association are:
- to protect the interests of Swedish industry in the field of industrial property
- to promote the dissemination of news and information among its members
- to promote a high level of professional conduct
The Association holds regular meetings to discuss matters in the field of industrial property, mostly in the patent and trademark fields.
The Association has around 400 members at present, representing a wide range of companies and attorney firms in Sweden.
The Association is regularly given the opportunity to declare its opinion to the Swedish Patent Office and to the Swedish Government in industrial property matters.
The Association is a member of the European Federation of Agents of Industry in Intellectual Property (FEMIPI).
