2011-10-26 - Following the presentation held at the SIPF fall meeting, Atty. Robert Michal Seeks Suggestions to be Sent to USPTO
Following his presentation at the SIPF conference last month on the impact of the new U.S. patent law, New York patent attorney and Lucas & Mercanti partner Robert P. Michal delivered a similar presentation in the Japanese cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. In fact, Rob and his colleagues have been asked to deliver similar presentations to additional professional audiences as well.
Rob is planning to submit to the USPTO suggestions and recommendations from his various audiences on the ways the U.S. Patent Office should fashion the rules and regulations implementing the new patent law. In fact, the U.S. Patent Office has requested such input. If you have any comments or concerns about the ways in which these new rules should be designed, please contact Rob at rmichal@lmiplaw.com .
Finally, as the new law is applied, new rules are advanced and their interpretations are refined, Rob and his colleagues will be providing timely updates and alerts explaining these latest developments in U.S. patent law. If you would like copies of these patent law updates, please contact Rob at rmichal@lmiplaw.com.
